While we are still <a href="http://www.s4miniarchive.com/2014/10/samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-getting-android-4-4-4-kitkat.html" target="_blank">waiting for an official 4.4.4 KitKat update from Samsung</a>, our beloved developers have already begun working with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop sources. Just a few hours ago, recognized xda developer <a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=3261191"><span style="color: green; font-style: italic;">F4k</span></a> has compiled and released an unofficial build of CyanogenMod12 which is based off the latest Android version 5.0<br />

As of now there are builds available to flash for the GT-I9190 and GT-I9195, with no news for the Duos (GT-I9192) model yet. At first, the developer had some small issues getting the RIL (Radio Interface Layer) to work which is what handles the connectivity between your phone and the SIM card to establish connections with your carrier. <strike>Thankfully that issue is resolved and the only issue remaining is getting the camera to work. </strike>The camera is now also working and the download links have been updated.<strike><br /></strike><br />

<ol>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Download the rom zip file from the above download link to your sdcard</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Download the <b>Gapps</b> package in order to have Google apps</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Power off your phone, boot into CWM Recovery by holding <b>Volume up</b> + <b>Home</b> + <b>Power</b> </span>keys simultaneously</li>
<li>Choose <b>wipe data</b></li>
<li>Choose <b>install zip</b></li>
<li>Choose <b>choose zip from /storage/sdcard/1/</b> (<b>choose zip from external sdcard</b> for older recoveries)</li>
<li>Choose the rom zip file then choose <b>Yes</b> to confirm</li>
<li>After rom has been installed, again choose choose zip from /storage/sdcard/1/ (<b>choose zip from external sdcard</b> for older recoveries)</li>
<li>This time flash the gapps zip file</li>
<li>After you are done, go back and choose <b>reboot system now</b></li>
